The Finch & Fox Storymobile is a traveling children’s bookstore on wheels, bringing shelves of gently loved stories right to your neighborhood. We carefully curate quality used children’s books so families can discover affordable treasures while giving these books a second life.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there—kids can also “adopt” a Book Buddy, a pre-loved stuffed animal that’s been freshly cleaned and is ready for new adventures. Just like our books, each Book Buddy comes with its own history and a chance to start a brand-new story with its new reader.

Our Book Buddies are gently loved, thrifted stuffed animals that have been freshly cleaned and made ready for new adventures. Each Buddy comes with its very own Adoption Certificate, where kids promise to read them stories and give them lots of love. It’s a magical way to make reading feel extra special—and every Buddy can’t wait to find their forever reader!

Bring the magic of stories to your next celebration! For a set cost per child, the Finch & Fox Storymobile will come to your party or event. The host chooses a story from our special list, and we’ll decorate the Storymobile to match the theme. Our storyteller will share the book with the children, and each child will leave with a themed goodie bag—including their very own copy of the story to take home. It’s a one-of-a-kind reading adventure they’ll never forget!
